ALDI supports Do Something Near You
ALDI is proud to support DoSomethingNearYou, a website launched by DoSomething! Founder, Jon Dee, in October 2011. DoSomethingNearYou.com.au is a community directory website that aims to link people with community groups that need a helping hand. The website provides details of community groups and not for profit organisations in 576 communities around Australia. The web site makes it easier than ever before for people to make a positive contribution in their local community.
It’s as simple as typing in your postcode to access a list of local community groups that you can volunteer with or get help from.
If you run a community group, you can also list your organisation for free at the site. Just visit DoSomethingNearYou.com.au to set up your free account.
ALDI encourages all Australians to use the DoSomethingNearYou website to help organisations in their local community.
To find out how you can make a contribution to your local community go to www.DoSomethingNearYou.com.au.
