How to make Puppy Love Hearts

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
  2. Cook half a cup of dry rice as per packet instructions. This will make 1½ cups of cooked rice.
  3. Place chicken mince, cooked rice, whisked eggs, grated carrot and chopped parsley into a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  4. Spoon mixture into a heart-shaped, silicone mould and press in tight.
  5. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  6. Remove from oven, allow to cool then pop out of mould.

Recipe tip: Can be kept in the fridge for 5 days or stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Optional: Egg shell powder can also be added to these biscuits.
