How to Make Sushi Sandwich Rolls Recipe
Method
- To make sushi sandwiches: Cut off crusts and cut bread slices into two pieces lengthways, making 2 rectangles. Each rectangle is your ‘sushi’ sandwich
- To make the strawberry and cheese filling, spread a thick layer of mascarpone to edges and place strawberry quarters in middle. Carefully roll up.
- To make the egg and spinach filling: Peel hard boiled eggs. In a bowl, mash egg with a fork. Then add 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise. Mix together. Spread a thin layer of remaining mayonnaise onto bread, Add mashed up egg mixture, spreading to the edges. Add baby spinach leaves on top. Carefully roll up.
- Your ‘sushi’ sandwich rolls are ready to eat and enjoy.
Optional: You can substitute cream cheese for mascarpone cheese
