How to Make Sushi Sandwich Rolls Recipe

Method

  1. To make sushi sandwiches: Cut off crusts and cut bread slices into two pieces lengthways, making 2 rectangles. Each rectangle is your ‘sushi’ sandwich
  2. To make the strawberry and cheese filling, spread a thick layer of mascarpone to edges and place strawberry quarters in middle. Carefully roll up.
  3. To make the egg and spinach filling: Peel hard boiled eggs. In a bowl, mash egg with a fork. Then add 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise. Mix together. Spread a thin layer of remaining mayonnaise onto bread, Add mashed up egg mixture, spreading to the edges. Add baby spinach leaves on top. Carefully roll up.
  4. Your ‘sushi’ sandwich rolls are ready to eat and enjoy. 

Optional: You can substitute cream cheese for mascarpone cheese
