How to make Prosciutto, Red Onion and Herb Stuffing
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced).
- Chop the red onions and fry them in the butter, once they start cooking add in the prosciutto. Cook on a low heat until the onion is softened.
- Tear bread, place into a food processor and pulse until it crumbs.
- Chop the herbs finely and add the seed mix, breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese (is using).
- Add this mixture to the onion and prosciutto.
- Zest the lemon and add to the stuffing mix, along with the juice. Season with some black pepper and a little salt (if needed).
- Finally, whisk the egg and add to the mix. Combine.
- Put into an ovenproof dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Serve with your favourite roast dinner.
