Tomato Goats Cheese Santas
How to Make Tomato Goats Cheese Santas
Method
- Whip cream cheese with tablespoon of milk until smooth. Put mixture into snaplock bag. Set aside.
- Cut a very thin slice off the bottom of each of the cherry tomatoes, so that you can sit them on a serving plate. Slice them in half, but not cutting all the way through each one.
- Remove seeds from each of the cherry tomatoes and gently fill with goats cheese. Ensure a small amount is exposed, so that you can use it to attach the basil.
- Cut a small corner of the snaplock bag and pipe a small round ball of cream cheese onto the tops of each tomato, to form the “head”
- Attach each of the small basil leaves to the backs of the tomatoes, by pressing into the goats cheese, exposed at the back of the tomatoes.
- Place half a grape tomato half on top of the cream cheese “head”, forming the “hat”.
- Pipe a tiny dot of cream cheese on top of the “hat” to form Santa’s “pom pom”.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
