How to make Cherry and Nectarine Crumble

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the nectarines, cherries, sugar, lemon juice and cornflour. Gently toss the fruit until it is evenly coated. 
  3. Lightly spray a baking dish with olive oil spray. Spread the fruit mixture onto the base of the dish. 
  4. In a separate large bowl, add plain flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butted, coconut, salt and spices. Mix together until clumpy and slightly wet.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit mixture to cover.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  7. Let the crumble cool slightly before serving. 

Tip: Serve on its own or with your favourite yogurt or ice cream.
