How to make Cherry and Nectarine Crumble
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
- In a large bowl, combine the nectarines, cherries, sugar, lemon juice and cornflour. Gently toss the fruit until it is evenly coated.
- Lightly spray a baking dish with olive oil spray. Spread the fruit mixture onto the base of the dish.
- In a separate large bowl, add plain flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butted, coconut, salt and spices. Mix together until clumpy and slightly wet.
- Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the fruit mixture to cover.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Let the crumble cool slightly before serving.
Tip: Serve on its own or with your favourite yogurt or ice cream.
