How to Make Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Line baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl mix together flour, salt and baking powder and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugars together until fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla until evenly combined. Add flour mixture in batches, combining well.
- Break chocolate into chunks, fold three-quarters of the chocolate into dough.
- Place 2-3 tablespoon-sized scoops of cookie dough on the baking tray – about 5cm apart.
- Add remaining chocolate chunks on top of the cookie dough balls before baking.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
