How to Make Hot Cross Cheesy Bacon Brunch
Method:
- Preheat the grill (or if you prefer, you can fry the bacon).
- Grate the cheese. Into a bowl, add the egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika and some black pepper and the grated cheese and mix well with a fork.
- Grill the bacon until crisp and keep warm (or fry until crispy and drain on paper towel).
- Cut the hot cross buns in half and grill the non-crossed sides. Spread the cheese mixture over the untoasted cut sides, then toast them until the cheese has melted.
- Cut the bacon rashers in half and put on the bases of the buns. Top with the crossed part of the buns and serve immediately.
