Santa Pancakes and Snowman Hot Chocolate Recipe
How to Make Santa Pancakes and Snowman Hot Chocolate
Method
To make the pancakes
- Preheat non-stick frypan on medium heat. Lightly spray with canola oil spray, if required.
- As per instructions on White Mill Pancake Shake Mix pack, cook your pancakes (each approximately 15cm round).
- Arrange pancakes on plate to make the Santa face.
- Position the sliced bananas for beard. Add fresh raspberries for Santa’s hat and nose,
- Use the whipped cream to make Santa’s moustache. Add a dollop for the hat’s pom-pom.
- Add 2 choc bits for eyes.
To make the hot chocolate
- Cut 1 marshmallow in half. Take 1 half and turn, so top is facing up. Push through 1 pretzel stick and place marshmallow in centre. This is the middle of the snowman.
- Place full marshmallow on top for head.
- Turn last half of marshmallow on its side and place at other end for the bottom of snowman.
- Carefully melt chocolate in microwave-safe dish, in short bursts. Then place melted chocolate in pipping bag and pipe on face and buttons for snowman.
- Break remaining pretzels in half and use for arms and legs. Repeat for each snowman hot chocolate.
- Gently heat milk in a saucepan until warm. Add drinking chocolate and whisk until chocolate has dissolved.
- Pour into mug and sprinkle with extra drinking chocolate. Place snowman on top. Serve.
