How to make Avocado Dip with Hot Smoked Salmon
Method
- Cut the avocados in half, deseed and scoop the flesh into a food processor. Add the sour cream and lime juice and blitz until very smooth. Season well with salt and pepper and spread onto a board or platter.
- Flake the salmon and place it on top of the dip. Scatter the coriander, tomato and red onion on top and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Serve with lemon wedges and tortilla strips.
Tip: Make the avocado dip just before serving to avoid discolouration.
Optional: For a spicy kick, top with finely chopped, fresh green jalapeño chillies.
