How to Make a Classic Creamy Chicken Roll
Method
- Wash and core lettuce. Wash and ‘peel’ celery sticks. Finely chop celery sticks and set aside.
- Place shredded chicken and mayonnaise in a bowl. Gently combine. Add chopped celery, dill and onion to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and gently mix into combine.
- Slice break rolls in half and butter both sides. Or you can add a small amount of mayonnaise onto the bread, if preferred.
- Lay 2 lettuce leaves on each roll. Top each roll with chicken mix.
- Add top of roll and serve
Tip: You can use any leftover chicken in place of the chicken breast pieces.
