Community Support
At ALDI, we are passionate about supporting the community. We connect and work with charity partners through a range of employee and customer focused initiatives. Find out how we are driving positive change in our community.
Connecting our employees with our charity partners
Through our team-building program, ALDI employees share their time to support our national charity partner Camp Quality and our food relief partners, Foodbank and OzHarvest.
At the Heart of our local communities
We know that we are only as strong as the communities in which we operate. We will always support our local communities through high-quality employment opportunities, long-term supplier relationships, and by partnering with local charities and community groups.
Prioritising Australian Made
Australian-made products are always our first choice when sourcing items for our stores. That’s not just because Aussie-made foods represent some of the highest-quality products in the world, but also because supporting our community is the right thing to do.
We’re proud to support Australian suppliers and manufacturers, and we only source from overseas when we can’t find the item, quality, efficiency or innovation we seek here in Australia. Look out for the Made in Australia logo in all ALDI Stores. We also support the Buy West, East Best logo in our Western Australian stores, and the South Australian State Brand in our South Australian stores.
Supporting Aussie Businesses: Since opening in 2001, we have built long-term relationships with nearly 1,000 farmers, producers and manufacturers in every state and territory, supporting them with reduced competition, simplified processes, and high-volume, timely, and consistent orders.
Creating Positive Change In Our Communities: As we expand across Australia, we believe it’s important to give back to local communities that support us. Through our charity partnerships we are helping to create positive change in local communities. Keep reading below to find out more:
ALDI is partnering with Camp Quality
ALDI Australia is proud to partner with Camp Quality, to support their programs and services that help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. Camp Quality is there for kids (0-15) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling, parent, or carer, every step of the way.
We’re also proud to be the major partner of Camp Quality’s national fundraising programs, Big Ride for Little Kids and Big Walk for Little Kids, as well as delivering employee, supplier and customer programs to raise funds and awareness of the work of Camp Quality.
Supporting Australians Impacted by Disaster
in 2022, Australian's in Queensland, New South Wales and VIctoria were devastated by some of the worst flood disasters we have seen in recent history. In the months following the floods, we supported impacted communities in their recovery phase, donating over $315,000 worth of food and essential products to people impacted by the floods. ALDI Customers also made a significant contribution, donating an additional $128,000 for Foodbank's Flood Appeal, instore at our registers.
We support food rescue organisations
In 2020, we established a national food support program with Foodbank Australia, enabling Foodbank to maintain a sustainable food supply to support Australians impacted by food insecurity. We are proud to support Foodbank in their fight against hunger in Australia.

How can ALDI support my community organisation?
ALDI’s community support program is focused on helping our community partners Camp Quality and Foodbank to deliver their programs and services. By focusing our efforts on our partners, we have been able to:
- Improve the connectedness of families when faced with a cancer diagnosis by funding and supporting Camp Quality Kids’ Camps; and
- Enable Foodbank to support 1 in 6 Australians who are impacted by food insecurity through our donation food and essential products, ongoing food program and support of their national disaster appeals.
Given our current community focus, we are unable to provide funding for additional community partnerships or initiatives at this time.
